Working with Glass as a Mosaic Artist

Ruth Sosa Bailey began working with stained glass in the ‘90s after a visit with her husband to France where she was inspired. She began doing windows but quickly entered into three-dimensional works such as kaleidoscopes and yard art. Then came the mosaicking, where any object was fair game to transform into a piece of art; stepping stones and spheres graduated to mannequins and guitars. In 2017 she attended the Orange Show VIPit experience with her daughter and realized it was time for her to make an art car. Over the next year she acquired a Toyota Corolla that drove in the following 2018 parade.
